The Women Veterans Unity Group Inc. (WVUG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to being a part of the change and solution process for the populations and communities we serve. Our motto is Voice Choice Change. WVUG year-round programs provide supportive service through our Women Veterans Unity Meetings, Outreach events, Rehabilitation/Recovery Initiative, Feed A Vet, Women events, and Holiday events, just to name a few. We provide our services to the Military Veterans communities, families, and dependents with a focus on Women. WVUG mission is to provide a continuum of resources to the female Veteran community whether disabled, distressed, despondent, helpless, hopeless, and or homeless. The purpose is to provide military veterans with resources and other components necessary to overcome their present circumstances and challenges. To motivate, empower, inspire through needed services to include spiritual enrichment the “whole person” to enhance and improve productivity, self-reliance, and self-sufficiency. Our focus is to motivate by establishing a firm foundation to increase and or elevate self-worth through supportive services, referrals, and a variety of yearly programs & monthly meetings.

We create value through our supportive services that we provide to improve the lives of the population we serve. We create value through relationship building, empowerment, modalities, sharing knowledge and best practices, through innovation, growth, and impact. WVUG creates value through dedicated services that break cycles, stigmas, modalities, and bias to develop outcomes that change and improve positive results. WVUG is responsible for the development of combined partnerships through advocacy by representing female veteran services throughout Southern California but not limited. WVUG has many partnerships/collaborations that provides services. WVUG has direct services to include victims of violence and sexual assault to strengthen the links and close the gaps for gender-specific services. Our programs are developed in response to the unique needs of the women we serve. WVUG reinforces collaborative partnerships with civilian communities, federal, local, state, national, community businesses, and reaches out to military installations in order to develop and support coordinated community responses to the unique needs of the women and the communities we serve.
How Member Creates Value:
As a honorably discharged United States Army Veteran, Founder/CEO WVUG, and member I will create value through who I am and the community that I serve and come in contact with by making referrals, through my actions, sharing knowledge/information, improving experiences, bringing resources, creating relationships, and connecting people by building connections, inviting our TEAM members to places that will improve their business/lives, and being present. Showing up to foster collaborative input can multiply all of the members impact and growth.
