Erica Lopez, owner and founder of E.L. Collections, also known as "Your Skirt Lady," based in Covina, California. Nearly 12 years ago, Erica started her business from scratch as a side hustle while working part-time at her corporate job. What began with creating folders and pouches for fellow volunteers quickly grew when she shared her creations on social media and people began asking to purchase them. While shopping for clothes one day, she thought to herself, "I can make that!" That simple idea sparked a passion for sewing and designing clothing, and the rest is history. Today, Erica specializes in creating handmade women's apparel designed to help women feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful. One of her customers' favorite features is that her skirts and skorts include pockets! Her current collection includes: • A-Line Skirts — $28–$37 • Circle Skirts — $28–$37 • Pencil Skirts — $28–$33 • Custom Skorts — $35 Erica is a dedicated wife to her husband Isaac of 23 years and a proud mother to two sons, Isaiah and Elijah, along with their service dog, Samson. As a stay-at-home mom and full-time caregiver to her son Elijah, she balances family life, running her business, organizing community events, and maintaining an active role in volunteer work. Beyond her business, Erica is a passionate advocate for the autism community. Through her efforts, she has helped connect families with valuable resources, support, and services. Her greatest inspiration comes from her sons, who continue to motivate her to pursue her dreams and make a difference in the lives of others. Some of Erica's accomplishments include being featured in Voyage Minnesota Magazine and Canvas Rebel Magazine. Looking ahead, one of her biggest dreams is to design and create a custom wedding dress.

To me success doesn't define you by how much you make or how many followers or views you have on social media. Success is whatever level you want it to be. I always say, “ you get what you put into it.” Mine is to be a good mom and wife and do what I love at the same time to be able to support my family. Being able to show my sons the importance of working hard, so when they get older and have children, they can do the same for them. Being able to satisfy my customers' needs and make them feel beautiful and confident, that's success for me.
