Boys & Girls Club of Greater Conejo

Who We Are We opened our doors in 2003 and have since grown to be one of the largest Clubs in Southern California! Through hard work, community outreach, and praise-worthy support from our community and funders, we have been named one of the top 100 Boys & Girls Clubs out of the 4,000-plus in the country! We are located within Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and serve communities from 9 Club facilities. Clubs provide a safe place to play, laugh, discover, and learn for youth in grades K-8. We offer programs before and after school, as well as summer camps and year-round sports leagues. Caring, trained staff and volunteers work with our members in a supervised, safe and structured environment. They foster a sense of belonging, responsibility, civility, and civic engagement, helping youth build new skills so they can success and receive recognition for their personal accomplishments.

Our Mission At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley, our mission is to enhance the lives of young people and their families by providing a positive environment that cultivates academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character and citizenship. We offer 9 clubs throughout Conejo Valley and the Las Virgenes School Districts. Our membership includes over 4,000 kids and teens from our community who are guided by over 100 youth volunteers and 400 adult volunteers! We have a dedicated and staff team composed of over 100 passionate people and over 30 volunteer board members!

I was in the financial industry for 28 years and decided to leave it for the nonprofit world as a volunteer at BOYs & Girls Club. Once I discovered the joy of doing it as a volunteer, I joined the board of directors in 2016 when my dad died, I took his seat. I feel like I make my mark in our community, and in this world, by raising money for nonprofits, and by making new connections to help me in my pursuit.
