Business Description:
Narrative:
I have over 28 years of civil litigation experience and I practice in the areas of real estate, small business, and financial elder abuse law.
My real estate law practice focuses on disputes and litigation matters representing buyers and sellers, real estate agents and brokers, insurance agents and brokers, escrow agents and companies, home inspectors, general contractors, subcontractors, homeowners, and HOAs. Many of my cases involve the purchase and sale of homes, home remodeling disputes, and neighbor disputes (shared trees, shared driveways, shared fences, property line issues, easements, and noise complaints). I do not handle any landlord/tenant matters.
My small business law practice involves disputes and litigation matters representing small businesses in vendor and contract disputes, ADA issues, and disputes between co-owners and partners.
I also handle the defense of financial elder abuse matters.
For other attorneys, I also am available to co-counsel in conflict and other situations, ghostwrite, and cover appearances.
Educational Background:
I graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California, in 1995. While at Pepperdine, I was a Member of the Moot Court Board. I have been admitted to practice law in the courts of the State of California and in the Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of the United States District Courts. Previously, I graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.
Personal Background:
I am a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and a Southern California resident since the mid-1980’s. I am a published computer hardware reviewer, a proud Apple Fanboy, and am a lifetime fan of the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, and Golden State Warriors. I am also a big fan of the Los Angeles Kings.
