Business Description:
ABOUT JOY
Joy followed a whisper to a magical place in Malibu Canyon. After years of living in oppression, this adventure led her home to rebuild a life for her family, and to fulfill her life’s purpose. She is a writer, advocate, forest bathing guide, meditation teacher and offers sound bath ceremonies and sacred women’s circles.
Joy has been on the frontlines fighting cancer as an advocate for her daughter, Lacey Grace. Through this she learned that advocating for her child and creating the waves necessary for patient centered care is an act of revolutionary love. Joy is also the Lead Patient Advocate and Board Co-Chair for FibroFighters Foundation.
Joy draws inspiration from soulful experiences, the intimacy of the forest, and untamed femininity. When not writing, offering support to others, or expanding training, Joy can usually be found exploring under a canopy of trees, enjoying the exhilaration of the ocean, or embracing the love and laughter of her family within the warmth of her home.
“Advocating for my daughter, and creating the waves necessary for patient centered care is an act of revolutionary love”.
