Parenting is too important a responsibility to bear alone, yet all too often single mothers and fathers are forced to do just that. With a mission to “empower single parents and their children by providing hope, support, and resources so that families can become self-sustaining and thrive,” Single Mothers Outreach (SMO) directly helps single parents find jobs, get educated, secure housing, stabilize their children’s emotional states, manage their finances, and help one another.

SMO offers FREE services to support single parents in the SCV area. Become a member of SMO today, at no cost, and quickly connect with others and participate in programs that can help with:
Finding free community services
Legal issues
Housing challenges
Childcare challenges
Food donations

Who is Eligible?
SMO has three main requirements in order to become a member. Our three requirements are:
Be a single parent.
Be a resident of the greater Santa Clarita Valley
Have at least one child under the age of 18. Single parents with kids over the age of 18 may still qualify if their son/daughter is enrolled in college. In which case, parent is eligible until child turns 21.
