Smiling Hearts WS is a California-based nonprofit organization dedicated to building community, connection, and support for families of children with special needs. Founded from personal experience with Williams syndrome, Smiling Hearts began with a mission to connect and uplift families navigating the unique challenges of this rare genetic condition. While Williams syndrome remains at the heart of our work, our mission has grown to embrace all special-needs families. Through fundraisers, educational workshops, advocacy, and inclusive community events, we strive to create safe and joyful spaces where parents feel understood, children feel accepted, and families know they are not alone. Smiling Hearts WS partners with local businesses, organizations, and supporters to raise awareness, provide resources, and host events that foster belonging. As a young and growing organization, we are committed to learning, expanding, and making a lasting impact for years to come.
