Business Description:
Triple V is an educational nonprofit that works with students ages 14-24 providing them with resources they need to succeed.
The Triple V fellowship is our main program and it aims to empower students in their academic and professional development through our three pillars Scholarship, Mentorship, and Internship. With over 4,000 students within our fellowship program serving the San Diego community and across the U.S. we are constantly trying to create both in person and online opportunities.
Our fellowship is designed for students to engage across multiple levels of involvement through personalized 1-1 support, our scholarship program, group workshops and webinars, and on demand support through our resource database.
How Business Creates Value:
At Triple V, we create value by investing in the full potential of students through a holistic model of academic and professional development.
Our in-house Storyteller Scholarship Program redefines traditional scholarship criteria by removing GPA and test score requirements. Instead, we center the student’s story—offered through a video-based format—to highlight resilience, identity, and ambition. This approach not only makes scholarship access more equitable but also fosters community by allowing students to engage with one another’s narratives.
Through our Peer & Pro Mentorship Program, we pair students with mentors aligned to their personal and career interests, offer industry-led group workshops, and host community-building events. This combination of peer support and professional insight builds confidence and expands our students’ networks.
Our Internship Match Program provides 1-on-1 guidance through every step of the internship process—from resume building and LinkedIn workshops to interview prep and custom internship placements.
Whether through direct mentorship, financial support, or real-world experience, Triple V creates value by seeing each student as a whole person—and by delivering meaningful, accessible, and lasting impact.
