Real Talk Youth Impact Program Inc.

Real Talk is a nonprofit organization that serve at-risk youth and their families. We opened our doors June 2013. We educate youth ages 8-18 about the consequences of making poor choices. In doing so, we utilize individuals who have unfortunately been effected by the criminal justice system. Our monthly speakers have over 100 years of incarceration time collectively and we provide them a platform to share their testimony to the youth in an effort to prevent them from entering or reentering the criminal justice system. The participants are also afforded extracurricular activity sponsorship of up to $150 per month providing they meet the educational requirements. As of January 2023, we have provided over 232 youth sponsorships totaling over $212,000. We pride ourselves in knowing that we are positively changing our community, one family at a time.

Real Talk provides a wholistic approach in an effort to save lives, families, the community, and tax payers dollars. The program is concerned not only about our next generation but their families, felons, and their future. Saving lives add value to our population, communities, and families as any of the children we serve can be the change agent for their next generation of families. Positive in, positive out. Real Talk promotes truth and accountability on all fronts. It takes a village to make a change and without opportunity there is no change.
