Blair's journey is marked by a profound understanding of cultural dynamics and a dedication to creating meaningful change, skills she honed while earning her B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in History from California State University San Marcos. During her academic career, Blair distinguished herself as a Dean’s List recipient and actively participated in international research, including intercultural medicine studies in Ecuador and archaeological field methods at Mission San Luis Rey. Blair's professional path is diverse and rich with experiences that have equipped her to lead IAEF effectively. She served as a Resources and Volunteer Coordinator at Wounded Warrior Homes, where she managed donor relations and volunteer activities, helping post-9/11 veterans transition smoothly back into civilian life. This role not only enhanced her organizational skills but also deepened her understanding of the unique challenges faced by veterans, insights that are invaluable in her current efforts to support artists who are veterans. Her tenure at Bronto Mead as a Sales and Distribution Representative saw her engaging directly with the community and enhancing her expertise in event coordination and public relations—skills that she leverages at IAEF to promote art and community engagement. Blair's earlier roles also include significant experiences in education and customer service, from tutoring with Varsity Tutors to managing client relationships at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which have all contributed to her comprehensive leadership capabilities. Today, as the CEO of IAEF, Blair Crann channels her extensive background into fostering an environment where art can flourish and enrich the community. Her work is driven by a belief in the transformative power of the arts and a commitment to providing artists with the resources they need to succeed. Blair continues to build on her experiences by seeking collaborations and partnerships that enhance the foundation’s reach and impact, ensuring that IAEF remains a pivotal force in the cultural and artistic development of the community.
