Pomona Valley Habitat assists the community by bring people together to build homes, and also operates a ReStore - a home-improvement retail store selling donated new and used building materials and other items at a fraction of the retail price. The Habitat ReStore diverts tons of waste from landfills by allowing community members' to donate their' "trash" to become someone elses "treasure". Proceeds from the ReStore are used to fund the construction of Habitat homes for low-income families.
