Business Name:
Therapeutic Modalities
Business Description:
A Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy®️ practice located in Phoenix, Arizona. Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy®️ helps patients suffering from both acute and chronic muscular pain. Myotherapy is non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical. It is more hands on than physical therapy and more therapeutic than a massage. Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy®️ provides patients with long lasting, cost effective results. *Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy® is a registered trademark of Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy, Inc. Tucson, AZ
How Business Creates Value:
We all have "trigger points", highly irritable spots in a muscle that contribute critically to pain. A trigger point lies dormant in a muscle until the physical and emotional climate is right, then it fires causing pain in the body. Much like a trigger point massage, the Bonnie Prudden therapist applies pressure to the trigger points in the muscle for several seconds. Fingers, elbow, knuckes and sometimes "Bodos" (woodend dowels ) are used to release the trigger point. Myotherapy literally means muscle therapy. Once the trigger points are released, your therapist will use passive stretches to teach the muscle to remain loose and lengthened. You will also be given custom tailored stretches and exercises to help improve coordination, strength and posture. Common conditions that respond to Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy: Sciatica, Back Pain, Headaches, TMJ, Arthritis, Whiplash and Torticollis, Carpel Tunnel, Fibromyalgia, Tennis Elbow, Rotator Cuff strains, Knee pain, Plantar Fasciitis, as well as the pain and discomfort of cyclical diseases processes such as Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis and Muscular Dystrophy.
