The Calvin Preston Foundation

The Calvin Preston Foundation is a nonprofit organization. We dedicate our efforts to empowering families affected by cancer. Our goal is to support families affected by limited resources; who have a child battling cancer. Together with our community we provide support, and basic needs, groceries, toys, and gifts during the many holidays of the year.

The Calvin Preston Foundation brings value by providing year-round support to pediatric oncology patients and their families during some of life's most challenging moments. Through thoughtfully curated holiday programs, care packages, hospital donations, special events, and community partnerships, we help create moments of joy, comfort, and hope for children undergoing cancer treatment. Beyond supporting patients, we strive to ease the emotional burden on families, strengthen the resources available to local pediatric oncology hospitals, and unite our community around a shared purpose. By raising awareness about childhood cancer, inspiring volunteerism, and encouraging charitable giving, we foster compassion, connection, and lasting impact. Every act of generosity—no matter how small—creates a ripple effect of hope, reminding families that they are seen, supported, and never alone in their journey.

As the founder of The Calvin Preston Foundation and Calvin's mother, I have dedicated my life to transforming personal loss into a lasting legacy of hope for others. Since Calvin's passing in 2014, I have worked tirelessly to build meaningful partnerships with hospitals, businesses, donors, volunteers, and community members to ensure that pediatric oncology patients and their families feel seen, supported, and cared for throughout the year. I believe that compassion is most powerful when it inspires action, and I strive to create opportunities for others to give back in ways that make a tangible difference. Through advocacy, community engagement, fundraising, and awareness initiatives, I work to shine a light on childhood cancer while fostering a culture of kindness, generosity, and connection. As both a mother and a nonprofit leader, my mission is to honor Calvin's legacy by reminding families facing childhood cancer that they are never alone and by inspiring others to become part of a community that creates hope, one act of kindness at a time.
