STAR/PAL

STAR/PAL is a San Diego–based nonprofit dedicated to fostering positive relationships between youth and law enforcement. Through mentorship, leadership programs, and community-building activities, we create safe spaces where young people can grow, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to thrive. Our programs empower youth while promoting ethical, trust-centered policing and stronger community connections.

STAR/PAL creates value by investing directly in the potential of young people and fostering meaningful relationships between youth and the officers who serve their neighborhoods. Through mentorship, leadership programs, after-school programs, and community-building activities, we provide guidance, structure, and opportunities for youth to thrive. Our work not only changes the trajectory of young lives, it also contributes to safer, healthier communities by building trust, reducing barriers, and promoting positive, proactive interactions between law enforcement and youth. By partnering with businesses and community members, we amplify impact and create long-term value for the entire San Diego region.

I create value by building meaningful connections between our business community, individual supporters, and the youth we serve at STAR/PAL. I actively seek partnerships that align an organization’s goals, and an individual’s passion, with impactful opportunities to support mentorship, leadership development, and community-building programs for San Diego youth. I bring expertise in relationship development, corporate engagement, and philanthropic strategy, helping businesses and individuals find authentic, purpose-driven ways to give back. Whether through volunteerism, sponsorships, personal giving, collaborative projects, or community initiatives, I work to create mutually beneficial partnerships that strengthen our mission while helping others engage in work that reflects their values and creates lasting community impact.
