Steven Oakley, the firm’s principal attorney, received his law degree from UCLA School of Law in 1995 and is admitted to practice before all California courts and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He is a member of the State Bar’s Trusts and Estates Section, the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys and Wealth Counsel, LLC. Steve served as a judicial extern to the Honorable William Rey of the U.S. District Court, as assistant to retired California State Supreme Court Justice Cruz Reynoso, as interim Special Assis- tant to the Vice Chairman of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights in Washington, D.C., as a member of the California State Bar’s Speakers Bureau for Financial Elder Abuse, and as a Pro Bono attorney for Public Counsel. Steve is a father of five, a member of the Jonathan Club, veteran of the United States Army and spends his free time dabbling in aviation and supporting several non-profit organizations including, Freemasons of California, Scottish Rite Language Centers, the Burbank Noon Kiwanis Club, Quake Safe Seniors, UCLA Alumni Scholarships, and the Shriners’ Hospitals for Children.
