RaisingHOPE serves vulnerable children, taking the burden off of private, public and governmental entities by providing for the basic needs and activities for children in foster care and those transitioning out of the foster care sytem. RaisingHOPE keeps children out of foster care, off the street and in school. Through life skills classes and personal relationships with caring, stable adults, youth gain the tools they need in order to become independent. As a child welfare attorney and adoption attorney who has also worked for Children & Family Services, I understand the system inside and out. I am able to see the true needs of children and families in the child welfare system. I'm a visionary who is compassionate and tenacious both for the children and the cause generally.
