Joy Lab Ceramics

Joy Lab Ceramics is a community ceramics studio and creative gathering space where adults and sometimes teens come to make things with their hands—and remember themselves in the process. We offer memberships, wheel + hand-building classes, workshops, private events, and open studio time designed to be beginner-friendly, grounding, and joy-forward. My studio is built around tactile and analog creativity, practical skill-building, and real human connection. Whether someone walks in burned out, craving community, or simply wanting to learn how to clay, Joy Lab provides structure, encouragement, and an environment that makes it easier to slow down, try, play, and grow.

A real third space for adults: a consistent, welcoming place to belong—outside of work and home—built around creativity and community. Skill + confidence through clay: clear instruction, repeatable practice, and supportive feedback that helps people build competency (and pride) fast. Nervous-system friendly experience: clay is regulating; our environment is intentionally low-pressure, encouraging, and approachable—especially for people who feel “not artistic.” Connection that isn’t performative: members meet organically through shared making, collaboration, and studio rituals—community that forms naturally, not through forced networking. Meaningful experiences for groups: private events and team experiences that build camaraderie through hands-on creation—something people actually remember and talk about later.

How I (as a TEAM member) Create Value Community builder + culture designer: I’m strong at creating spaces where people feel safe to show up, experiment, and connect—without needing to be polished. Creative facilitation (not “sit-on-a-couch coaching”): I help people and teams get unstuck through experiential processes—hands-on making, reflection, and simple frameworks that translate into real-life action. Operational leadership + execution: I bring systems thinking, process clarity, and follow-through—turning ideas into grounded plans and functional workflows. Joy as a performance advantage: I bring a practical lens on joy as a driver of resilience, retention, and sustainable output—not fluff, but culture that holds under pressure. Connector energy: I naturally spot collaboration opportunities, introduce aligned people, and build bridges across skill sets, industries, and communities.
