Daughters of Zion

Daughters of Zion is non-profit serving homeless women with children of diverse ethnicities transition from shelter living into their own homes. Daughters of Zion mission is to improve the quality of life and give these women a fresh start by meeting the initial essential needs when they move from the shelter. The support of individuals, corporations and entities that come alongside to build a supportive community, in response to issues that homelessness has created for these women who just need a bridge to restorative opportunities. Daughters of Zion serves women of the greater Los Angeles and San Fernando Valleys.

Daughters of Zion reaches out to those in need with love and not judgement. Whether one made à wrong choice or had no choice, I come alongside to show them they are still valuable. As a counselor, I walk them through the steps of healing, goal setting and getting back on the path of their deepest desires and then help them launch.

I create value by not giving up on those I serve, even when my advice is not received. I work with them at their pace since they have had many broken promises. The establishment of a trusted relationship takes time to build.
