How Member Creates Value:
I provide clients with the peace of mind that comes with preserving a legacy for their loved ones. and doing so in a way that maximizes value, while minimizing conflict. I serve as an advocate and educator to empower clients to makes some of their most impactful decisions with confidence and clarity.
Who I Am
Practical, strategic and emphatic-that is my philosophy with clients and my approach to life in general.
I began my legal career as a litigator and spent over a decade defending actions against global corporations involving personal injury, business disputes and general negligence claims. While I found litigation exciting and challenging, I also found my role to be very reactionary as clients generally came to me after something negative had occurred. With a desire to provide legal guidance that is both proactive and designed to avoid conflict, I transitioned from litigation to estate planning. I've developed an expertise at navigating trust and estate issues on behalf of aging seniors, middle-aged individuals and young families. My mission is to provide compassionate counsel and innovative solutions that are uniquely tailored to each family's individual needs and designed to deliver security and peace of mind.
I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a minor in Anthropology. I earned my Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, where I also served as an articles editor for the Loyola Law Review. I am a frequent speaker on estate planning issues and do a monthly radio segment on KEARTH 101..
In my free time, I love traveling with my husband and daughter, marveling at the antics of my two miniature dachshunds and experimenting with new recipes.
